Gifted in Music -- Identification and Programing

Friday, November 10
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Location: 212 B

As in all areas of giftedness, it is often hard to distinguish high achievement from being gifted in music. Then after students are identified in music, it can also be challenging to provide adequate programming in the public school setting. This session provides tips and techniques to help with accurately identifying students in music as well as a plan to facilitate an independent learning model for use with gifted music students in the school environment.
