Saturday, November 11
3:45 PM - 4:45 PM
Location: 211 A

This session showcases methods coordinators and administrators can employ for iterative professional development; that is, professional development that supports teachers before, during, and most importantly after a PD session has ended. Like home renovation shows, it’s critical to maintain changes after the show is over. Many districts may struggle to provide effective PD specifically for their gifted educators. In this session, we demonstrate concrete methods for implementing effective PD uniquely designed to address foundations of and trends in gifted education. Walk away with strategies and practices that can immediately be incorporated into your own gifted education professional development plans.
