Is your goal to foster creativity and innovation in young minds? Action-based Problem Solving, a curricular component of Future Problem Solving, integrates Creative Problem Solving into action by immersing students in meaningful research with topic-based, community issues. AbPS develops critical thinking necessary to adapt to a changing world and empowers students to make positive change in their futures.

North Carolina Future Problem Solving Program

Sandra’s background includes 25 years as an elementary and middle school teacher including endorsements in Early Education, Elementary Education, Middle Education, and Gifted Education. She has been an instructor for Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth and a co-instructor with Mary Baldwin College Master of Arts in Teaching. Her training and experience include gifted education, language arts, literature, creative writing, law-related education, creative problem-solving, and technology. Sandra has been involved in Future Problem Solving as a coach, trainer and evaluator at the local and international level and is currently the affiliate director of North Carolina Future Problem Solving Program.

April is the Program Director of Future Problem Solving Program International. April holds a Master's Degree in Gifted Education and is a NBCT. She spent 17 years as an elementary teacher, and continues to collaborate and present at the district and state levels for Florida's gifted. April facilitates gifted endorsement courses for teacher certification. April believes Future Problem Solving Program is an ideal avenue for providing students with engaging and creative opportunities!
