Schools are leveraging technology to enhance learning at an exponential rate. Computers and connectivity have created opportunities for gifted students where learning is no longer confined to the classroom. An increasing number of students are participating in distance education, where they learn at any time, across geographic boundaries, and at their own pace. Two types of distance learning—online and blended—are viable solutions for gifted students who require acceleration, flexible schedules, or an alternative to the traditional school setting.
In this session, discover models of online learning and the benefits of personalizing gifted students’ education!
