What happens when you give students 20% of class time to investigate self-selected topics of interest? A passion-filled classroom in which creativity and critical thinking form the foundation for success. In this session, learn about what it takes to create an atmosphere where students work in a state of flow, where they are fully engaged and challenge themselves to learn as much as they can. Guided by rich questions, conferences, mini-lessons, discussions, and time with mentors, students delve into their topics and create final products to share with the world.
