There is nothing like an engaging story to light up a young gifted reader! Stories of enchantment, adventure, mystery, discovery, and humor are just some of the themes that provide young gifted readers a glimpse into who they are or who they hope to become. High quality literature provides a lens through which gifted children can envision the world around them while also finding insights into the depths of their hearts. In this session, attendees learn about recent award-winning literature for gifted readers in grades K-3. Resources include book lists and literature guides to shine a light on the path of discovery for young gifted readers.
