Arts enrichment programs have the capacity to be a light in places when other lights go out. As we seek in this conference to shine a light on gifted children, the enhancement of the arts in programming brings artistic expression to students, For the purpose of encouraging the design of arts enrichment, this session will provide practical strategies and resources to foster artistic expression, enhancing and extending the proclivity to create, design, and develop talents of GT students in the mediums of visual arts and musical compositions by . We look forward to your brilliant insights and look forward to sharing ours with you.

Talented and Gifted Educator
New Milford Public Schools

Dr. Yvonne de St. Croix serves as the Talented and Gifted Enrichment Coordinator in New Milford, Connecticut. She was recognized in 2015 as a Teacher's Voices Network fellow, a 2014 Governor’s Teachers Network educator. In NC, she has partnered with Collaborative Conference for Student Achievement in work focusing on data-driven differentiation. Her doctoral candidacy focusing on Education Leadershipwas honored by NCRA and she was recently recognized for her leadership by ILA. By uniting STEM and literacy, Yvonne advocates for gifted learners through writing grants that focus on experiential learning and informs gifted practices with influence from NAGC, NCTE, NBPTS, and IRA.
