In 2010, a group of dedicated parents, community leaders, and educators in Charleston, SC opened a charter school focused on meeting the needs of gifted 6th-12th grade students. Seven years later, there have been multiple lessons learned on the way to creating one of the top schools in South Carolina. The session focuses on the obstacles and challenges to getting started as well as the strategies that have worked in developing and maintaining a successful school.
