Where is there potential for collaboration between universities?
This forum explores the driving forces for internationalization and strategic partnerships with Latin America and the Caribbean. Sergio Urzúa, PhD, associate professor, department of economics from the University of Maryland will provide the keynote address, followed by a higher education panel. Leaders from throughout the region will share model practices and provide insights on developing sustainable partnerships. Panel speakers include: Alejandra Barahona Castro, PhD, senior international officer, Universidad Veritas (Costa Rica), Maria de Lourdes Dieck-Assad, PhD, vice president for hemispheric and global affairs, University of Miami, and Professor Jorge Arosemena, executive director, City of Knowledge Panama. There will be a session for country-specific breakout tables for specific discusssions.
