To prepare for the challenges and maximize opportunities, Indian higher education has adopted a transformative approach – from curricula and pedagogy, to effective use of technology, to forging international partnerships, governance, and funding. This session covers recent stakeholder initiatives to transform higher education institutions into incubators for innovation primed to educate future global citizens.

Prof. Rajan Saxena is Vice Chancellor NMIMS (Deemed Universit) Mumbai since 2009 . Earlier he served IIM-Indore as its first Director, and was also the Director of S P Jain Instiute of Management & Research . He is the currently the Chair of FICCI Higher Education Committee.He has over 40 years of professional experience in management education, research, consulting and institution building. He is widely respected in the country as an outstanding marketing educator and an institution builder.
He has been conferred with several awards for teaching excellence, leadership, institution building and contribution to higher education in India. He has over 70 articles in well-known journals. He has written two books in the area of marketing and is an author of 30 cases. He is also serves Corporate and Social Organisations' Board of Directors.
