David is the Director of Client Relations at IDP Education and has extensive experience working with colleges and universities with a vast understanding of their business needs. Prior to IDP, he spent three years with Lehman Brothers Bank in their private student lending division. David is a graduate of Shippensburg University, where he earned his degree in finance.

IDP Education is a world leader in international student placement services. Their global network of 90 counseling centers helps students from 28 countries study in the USA.

American International Recruitment Council

At the American International Recruitment Council I serve as Director of Certification and Associate Director. I lead all aspects of an accreditation process for international student recruitment organizations, including verification of AIRC Standards, compliance, site inspection visits and reports, policy revisions and updates, public comments and complaints process. I also coordinate professional development training for members, develop content for the AIRC annual conference and other professional meetings, write and edit papers for AIRC's publications library, develop member recruitment strategies, plan outreach and communications, manage personnel and organize the annual conference and professional workshops.

George F. Kacenga truly enjoys working with international students and has been an active professional in higher education for over 15 years serving domestic, international, and underserved populations. With strengths including admissions, enrollment management, and student service, George serves as an active member of several professional organizations as a leader and presenter such as NAFSA, AACRAO, NAGAP, AIRC, and TAICEP. Together, George’s personal and professional paths have taken him to five continents, many countries, and into many more lasting relationships. George earned his PhD from the University of Pittsburgh in Social and Comparative Analysis in Education. He is the recipient of an Administrator’s Fulbright award to S. Korea, the IERF Sepmeyer Research Grant, and the AIRC Marjorie Peace Lenn Research Award. George is eager to collaborate and find solutions that serve students and stakeholders alike and he welcomes your communication.

Ryan Fleming

Client Relations & Contracts Manager
IDP Connect

Ryan Fleming joined IDP Education May 2015. Based in Buffalo, NY, Ryan advises a portfolio of higher education institutions on their international enrollment strategies, helping to leverage IDP's global network of student counseling offices. As Client Relations & Contracts Manager, Ryan also oversees the contract negotiation process for IDP's US-based team.

Prior to IDP, Ryan was Senior Advisor for International Student & Scholar Services at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Ryan holds a Master of International Affairs from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish degree from the SUNY University at Buffalo.

Ryan is a regular presenter at NAFSA and AIRC.
