Presenters will share a case study from Centennial College and Dickinson State University on how a comprehensive digital recruitment plan supporting meaningful engagement can drive international student enrollment. Considerations for unique outreach efforts, building connections in new and developing markets, and opportunities for "armchair recruitment" will be shared.

Vice President of Audience Marketing and Analytics, Brock Tibert oversees marketing and communications for all CollegeWeekLive products and solutions. Prior to CollegeWeekLive, Brock spent over 11 years in various leadership positions in enrollment management at Bentley University, focusing on recruitment strategies to shape undergraduate enrollment. Brock holds a B.A. in Economics and a M.S. in Finance from Clark University.

Recruitment Manager, International Digital Engagement
Centennial College

In six years at Centennial College Greg has been the first ever “Armchair Recruiter,” “Digital Media Recruitment Officer,” and “Recruitment Manager, International Digital Engagement." As the first in each new strategic position, Greg and his team have developed new initiatives, innovated pilot projects and implemented new models of virtual recruitment that impact both revenue generation and student success. His approach to managing Digital Media Market needs is collaborative, creative, interactive and inviting; involving Marketing, Student Services, Academics, Global Citizenship, Applied Research, Agents, Key Digital Recruitment partners and platforms, and most importantly involving students and alumni, on campus and online. Building on Centennial’s commitment to engaging with the International Education Community, Greg has presented at conferences such as 2011 ICEED, 2012 NAFSA, 2013 NACAC, 2014 Canadian Bureau for International Education Conference (CBIE) Conference, and 2016 CBIE Conference.

Perzen Polishwalla

Director- International Programs
Dickinson State University

Perzen Polishwalla is the Director of International Programs at Dickinson State University. She earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University.
Her experience as an international student sparked her passion in the International Education field. “I have a difficult time finding even one aspect that I don’t fully enjoy. While most people chase after materialistic dreams that will never be satisfied, I feel fulfilled at the end of every day. This is because I know that many of the students I help succeed here will achieve great feats in their lives.I also earned a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages certification from University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire in 2013.

Perzen was already a seasoned supervisor in the business area when she joined the staff at Dickinson State University. During her time at Dickinson State she has become versed in regulations and processes related to international student admission and certification. Perzen brings years of personal and professional international experience to Dickinson State. Her firsthand experience as an international student in the United States, experience travelling overseas, interacting with people of many different cultural backgrounds, and interacting with many state and Federal agencies, has helped prepare her to lead the International Programs office at Dickinson State.
