With a young population, a growing economy, and improving academic excellence, Turkey is poised to continue its role as a regional and international hub for education. This session focuses on recent developments in the Turkish higher education system from the perspective of university administrators.

Irem Arman is the Director of Global Affairs of Istanbul Aydin University
She has a B.A degree in Management from Bilkent University and Marketing degree from Rollins College.
She then completed her Msc in Communications at Rollins College.
She worked at Independent Colleges and Universities Benefits Association-ICUBA between 2001-2005 and has been working at Istanbul Aydin University since 2008.
Her expertise are international relations, multi cultural communication and international student mobility models.

Graduated from Department of International Relations at Beykent University (İstanbul, Turkey) and received his MA degree in Conflict Analysis and Resolution form Sabancı University (İstanbul, Turkey). Since 2007, he has been working for Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEİK). Currently, he is heading Strategy & Business Development Department including Higher Education Business Council (EEİK)
