Ivor Emmanuel presently serves as the director of the International Office at the University of
California- Berkeley. He previously served in a similar capacity at the University of Illinois- Urbana-Champaign where he earned a doctoral degree in higher education. Ivor has held multiple leadership roles within NAFSA including serving as Vice President for Professional Development.

Linda Montaño is the Senior Director of Business Operations and Administration for International Affairs (OIA) at The Ohio State University. In this role she oversees the Finance and Human Resource functions that support International Students and Scholars (ISS), Education Abroad, multiple interdisciplinary centers, and global gateway offices. Linda has an M.A. in Public Policy and Management from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at Ohio State, 20+ years of experience working with budgets, and serves as a volunteer trainer in Ohio State’s financial training program. She especially enjoys helping new managers gain the skills they need to succeed.
