Director of International Admission
Dr. Matthew Beatty is the Director of International Admissions at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He provides strategic leadership and direction to the College's international recruitment and admission's operation in effort to achieve strategic enrollment and retention goals. Dr. Beatty has a rich background in international enrollment management and services. Before coming to Concordia, he previously served as Director of International Admissions at Indiana University and Assistant Director and Recruitment Coordinator at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He also earned his doctorate degree in educational policy and administration from the University of Minnesota with a focus on faculty engagement in comprehensive internationalization.

Vice Provost for Global Engagement
University of Rochester
Jane Gatewood is the Vice Provost for Global Engagement at the University of Rochester (New York). She earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory University and a PhD from the University of Georgia. Her administrative experience includes developing complex bi- and multi-lateral international partnerships for research, educational mobility, and economic development, and she has spent the last fifteen years working at the intersection of business, higher education, and government & diplomatic relations.
She has been a Fulbright awardee (India) and an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at the School of Advanced Study (University of London). She was a visiting research editor for the Oxford English Dictionary (3rd Edition, Oxford University Press). Her academic training and expertise are in modern literary history, lexicography, and corpus linguistics. She regularly consults and speaks on the importance of partnerships to international higher education.

California State University-Fresno International Student Services and Programs
Stephanie Ingvaldson has close to a decade of experience in enrollment management and evaluation, working at UCLA Undergraduate Admissions with both domestic and international students, and most recently at California State University, Fresno, where she is involved with the recruitment, admission, and enrollment steps of both undergraduate and graduate international students. Ms. Ingvaldson oversees the International Student Services and Programs office at Fresno State and works closely with overseas sponsored groups. She is the current Network Leader for the ACE (Admissions and Credential Evaluation) NAFSA Knowledge Community.
Director, Internationalization Office
Memorial University of Newfoundland
Sonja Knutson is the Director of the Internationalization Office of Memorial University of Newfoundland. She holds a B.Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Concordia University (1999) and an M.Ed. in Post-Secondary Education from Memorial University (2001). Sonja is a frequent presenter at international education conferences and active in both the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) and NAFSA.
