Caroline Donovan Whiteis the Senior Director for Education Abroad Services at NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the world's largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. At NAFSA, Caroline provides strategic staff leadership for professional development, programs, and services related to education abroad.

Caroline has 20 years’ experience in international education. In addition to her work at NAFSA, she is an adjunct faculty member at George Washington University, teaching courses on managing international education programs. Caroline is also on the Advisory Board Prior for Global Education Programs at the District of Columbia Public Schools, a member of the Fund for Education Abroad Gala host committee, and the Board of Trustees for a local church. Prior to joining NAFSA in 2012, Caroline managed international education programs for 13 years at The George Washington University. Caroline has also worked at the Institute of International Education and Delphi International.

Caroline earned her degrees from GW and American University and studied abroad in France, Kenya, Jordan, Syria, and Viet Nam. She has presented at NAFSA, IIE, EAIE, AIEA, and other international conferences.

Anthony Koliha

Director, Global Educational Programs

Anthony Koliha is the Director of the Office of Global Educational Programs at the U.S. Department of State, where he oversees a portfolio of international teacher, professional, and global mobility programs and services, including engagement with the community college sector. Prior to joining ECA, he was the Director of International Programs in the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University, Bloomington, where he helped successfully launch a new School of Global and International Studies. Mr. Koliha previously held joint posts as Director of the Fulbright Program in Russia and International Director of the Russia/Eurasia office for the Institute of International Education. He holds degrees from Kenyon College and Indiana University, Bloomington.
