Pamela Barrett is an experienced international education professional, Director of Barton Carlyle, a specialist international education management consultancy with a worldwide client list. Previously Barrett led HE Advisory at KPMG, where she remains an Associate. As Education Attaché at the British Embassy in Washington, DC, Barrett was responsible for the transatlantic relationship in education and has worked with the British Council in Malaysia. She has more than 25 years' experience in international recruitment and marketing, student services, international fundraising, alumni, and study abroad. Barrett was the associate dean at Allegheny College, where she directed international student services, study abroad and exchanges, and set up an international student recruitment program. Barrett established the first USA Year Abroad programs at the University of Sheffield and was the first assistant dean at Regent's College in London. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of London, an MBA and a Master’s degree in International Relations from USC.

Lindsay Mathers Addington

Associate Director
National Association for College Admission Counseling

Lindsay Mathers Addington is Associate Director of International Initiatives at the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC). She develops research and designs and implements programs for counseling and admission professionals worldwide who advise, recruit, enroll, and support students in an increasingly global landscape. She regularly presents on topics related to international student mobility at conferences around the world, and is a member of the International Association for College Admission Counseling, NAFSA: Association of International Educators, and the Association of International Education Administrators. Prior to NACAC, Lindsay worked at the American Council on Education’s Center for Internationalization and Global Engagement and at the George Washington University's (GW) Office of Undergraduate Admissions and International Student Services Office. She holds a master’s and doctoral degree in Higher Education Administration from GW, and a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Delaware.
