Christina Schoenbacher is the Director of International Relations and Postgraduate School at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. She has been working in this field since 12 years, establishing the department and numerous international activities and partnerships from scratch. The results are that at the moment over 50% of our graduates have done at least a practical part of their studies abroad. She is also a member of the International Relations and Activities Committee of the university.
Being an active participant of all EAIE and NAFSA conferences since 2005, Christina Schoenbacher has experience in presenting at NAFSA, EAIE and APAIE conferences.
Christina Schoenbacher received her MBA in Marketing & Sales from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and her MA in English & American and Media Studies from the University of Graz. During her studies she spent a semester in Bordeaux, France.

Angie Maffeo is Director of the International Programs Office at University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, where she is a 1-person office responsible for overseeing all international programming for the university. Angie has presented and written for NAFSA and EAIE on the benefits of working with small institutions to advance internationalization at universities of any size. Angie is an alum of the AIEA Academy and is committed to strategizing and working with other leaders in the field to advance internationalization strategies for small institutions.

Patricia I. Jones, former director of Western Illinois University 's ESL program chairs the Membership Engagement Committee.BS in English, Master's in College Student Personnel. Taught ten years in public schools, returned to WIU as WESL faculty, the Director of international student services, assistant director of the univ advising center, and Director of WESL. Leader in NAFSA 35 years. Established ESL program in Korea, co-directed Fulbright group, chaired Training Coordination Subcommittee, Leadership Development Committee, and regional chair three times. Homer Higbee Award in 2009, Lifetime Membership in 2011. Chair of NAFSA Academy 1, 2 & 12.
