Receive guidance in evaluating foreign units and grades as well as calculating a grade point average from various secondary education programs. Participants analyze the same process applied to the various external exams, provided by multiple examining boards, required for access to higher education in many countries. Advanced placement credit is discussed.

Aleks Morawski is an experienced International Enrollment Management professional. He completed his BA at Marquette University and his MA at San Diego State University, both in political science, focusing on international politics. His experience in international education spans the public and private sector in the United States. He currently serves as Director of Evaluation Services at Scholaro Inc., where he leads a staff of experts in providing credential evaluation solutions and online tools in international education. Morawski has presented at regional, national and international conferences, is an active member of NAFSA's Trainer Corps, and holds various leadership positions in professional organizations. Morawski is also a contributor to "Managing a Successful International Admissions Office", NAFSA's guide to international admissions, and International Educator magazine.

Marco Chávez earned two BA degrees from Oregon State University and his MA from Bowling Green State University. During the time he was earning his degrees he became interested in admissions and in international education through his on-campus jobs and study abroad experiences. This interest led him to his current role as the Senior Assistant Director at The Ohio State University where he has been since 2006. During this time he has helped recruit students from all over the world and has also shared his knowledge of international admissions at national and international conferences and workshops.

Betsy Morley has worked in international education for over 12 years at Ohio University, the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and now at Albion College where she leads international admissions efforts. In her seven years in the international section of OHIO’s Undergraduate Admissions, Betsy evaluated foreign credentials, supported recruitment activities, and coordinated among campus offices on policy implementation and student support. In addition she supervised the transition toward a paperless application system and assisted with the university-wide conversion to PeopleSoft. She has lived in Senegal and France and has extensive personal and professional travel experience. With degrees from Agnes Scott College and New York University, she is an active Trainer Corps member, and presented at state and regional NAFSA conferences on study abroad, international admissions, and student support topics.

Suguru Fujiwara, a native of Kyoto Japan, currently serves as the International Transfer and Articulation Specialist at the University of Idaho. His years of experience as an International Credential Specialist at Washington State University, an International Programs Office Assistant at Lewis-Clark State College, and international student studying abroad have informed his knowledge and perspective in the field of international credentials. Additionally, his background in Business Administration and experience working in the USA and abroad help him to help students and academic departments to achieve the best possible outcomes.
