The Conservation Fund

Erik J. Meyers is The Conservation Fund's Vice President for Climate and Water Sustainability. The Fund is a top rated charity that has been making conservation work for America for more than three decades. Erik currently leads the Fund’s projects on climate adaptation and resiliency, has initiated an urban water sustainability program, and assists with the Fund’s mitigation program. He previously chaired and remains on the board of the Natural Capital Investment Fund, a $30 million multistate TCF subsidiary that invests in small businesses and rural communities. Prior to joining The Fund, Erik was Vice President and General Counsel for the Environmental Law Institute where he also led ELI's wetlands program.

Erik currently co-chairs the SAGE Finance Work Group, the Chesapeake Bay Program’s Climate Resiliency Work Group, and the Greater Baltimore Wilderness Coalition. He serves on the board of directors of the US Water Alliance and Wildlife Habitat Council and is an advisor on the National Aquarium's Conservation Committee. The American National Standards Institute and US EPA have recognized erik's voluntary service as chair of US EPA’s National Advisory Council for Environmental Policy and Technology, the American National Standards Institute’s EMS Council

A member of NY, DC and VA bars, Erik earned a law degree from Fordham University School of Law and bachelor’s of science from Georgetown University.
