University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix
I am the director of the Arizona Health Sciences Library at the Phoenix Biomedical Campus. I lead a multi-institutional team providing information access and services to students, faculty, and staff of the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix and Northern Arizona University College of Health and Human Services. Duties include instructional outreach to the academic communities of both institutions, day-to-day management of library operations, coordination with each institution's main campus libraries, and collaboration with regional libraries, organizations, and agencies. My previous experience includes progressively responsible positions at University of Phoenix, beginning as a librarian at the institution's flagship campus and culminating in service as a vice-president with responsibility for library resources, digital content, tutoring, media production, and instructional design. I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics from Brown University and a master's degree in library science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
