Ondrej Krehel

Ondrej Krehel is the digital forensic lead, CEO and founder of LIFARS LLC, an international cybersecurity intelligence, digital forensics and incident response firm based in New York City.
He’s the former CISO of IDT911, the nation’s premier identity theft recovery and data breach management service. He previously conducted forensic investigations and cybersecurity consulting at Stroz Friedberg, including for various U.S. government engagements and missions such as military cyber special operations.
With two decades of experience in computer security and forensics, Ondrej has conducted a wide range of red team exercises, cyber resilience matters, investigations, including data breached through computer intrusions, theft of intellectual property, massive deletions, defragmentation, file carvings, anti-money laundering, financial fraud, mathematical modeling and computer hacking. His experience also includes working as the IT security technical project leader for the Loews Corporation, a Fortune 100 company located New York City, and as a computer analyst for the Slovakian government-owned utility company.
Ondrej is a frequent speaker at industry events and author on matters related to information security and computer forensics. Among other industry groups, he is a member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), (ISC)2 and the International Council of Electronic Commerce (EC Council). He also is a CISSP, EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), and a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH). He is one of few to hold a Certified Ethical Hacker Instructor (CEI) accreditation, and to be authorized to provide ethical hacking courses to both the government and private sector.
His work has received attention from CNN, ABC, BBC, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, among many others.
