A CIAM is a central system which manages all the identities and their relevant access in an enterprise based on pre-defined business and audit rules. Why is it so important? a CIAM support uninterrupted business services, which requires an integration of various systems placed either in-house or in cloud. It also provides control and monitors application access to stay within compliance.

    Mohammed Sharfuddin is a solution-oriented CISM and certified security / GRC professional with experience helping clients worldwide with their User authentication and authorizations, security implementations, risk assessments, controls review, project plans, process documentation and developments across different applications.

    He currently works at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology designing user access from hiring through termination . Mohammed also is involved with integrating an IAM solution with GRC for risk analysis and automated provisioning.

    In previous roles at Textron, Epson, Applied Materials, Greenlee, Kautex and Cox, he performed a number of authentication and authorization engagements to address governance, risk & compliance
