Recognized as one of Southern Living Magazine's "Innovators Changing the South," Kim Mahan is the CEO of MAXX Potential, a unique tech talent incubator that has been finding and growing technical professionals from its Richmond, Va. headquarters since 2012. The company hires aspiring security and software development professionals and provides on-the-job training using a completely individualized, hands-on approach. MAXX apprentices gain valuable experience that helps them land high-paying jobs at companies like Capital One, General Electric and numerous mid-size companies in the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to founding MAXX, Kim held global technology leadership positions at GE Corporate, GE Industrial and Genworth Financial. A CISSP since 2010, she also serves on the boards of the RVAmakerfest, CodeRVA High School, and she chairs Richmond's Technology Education Foundation.
