6110 - Cyber Insurance in the Cloud

Wednesday, September 27
9:00 AM - 10:00 AM

Your executives wanted the cloud, and you supported the cybersecurity and privacy assessments. You even reviewed the cloud service provider's wall of certifications—ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27017, ISO/IEC 27018, FedRAMP, CSA (STAR), SOC (1, 2, 3)—and were left suitably impressed. But does that mean your corporate data is really safe? What about the promise of a risk-free cloud experience? You have a lot of work to do.

First we'll run through typical security configurations that you’ll need to know on the major CSPs, then discuss the importance of mitigating your risk through cyber insurance. We'll also present the facts and the risk metrics that CSPs are soon to be providing to insurance companies.
