Dynamic Control Method of Optimal Flood Control Operation for Parallel Reservoirs

flood optimization dispatching of reservoirs plays an important means of reservoir group of flood control benefit, plays an important role in reservoir flood control. Comprehensive consideration of downstream flood control points and the capacity of the reservoir flood control operation, the introduction of safety coefficient of coordination of the highest water level in the front of the dam of reservoir group and downstream flood control scheduling control point maximum flow, application of Muskingum method to calculate the evolution process of the flow in the river channel, in the process of the prediction of reservoir real-time flood process, generate reservoir optimal scheduling decision process in considering the safety of reservoirs and downstream flood control point, and make a decision of the current period. In upstream basin of Guijiang basin for the case study shows that the method has good practicability, and in the process of reservoir scheduling, predictable the possible risk situation under the real-time flood forecasting on reservoirs themselves and the flood control points downstream, facilitate early to make contingency plans, reducing flood risks and losses.
