POSTER SESSION A: Ar Hi De Ub Cr
The paper deals with analysing cartographic science, real estate cadaster and its practice implementation, as well as with introduction of cartography in different education modules in university studies in Montenegro.
Futher the development, production and creativity in the fields of cartography and real-estate cadaster over time in Montenegro is discussed, as well as the cartographic projection, scientific results and recent changes such as: advanced computer and satellite based technologies, GIS, cartographic visualization and digital cartography, multimedia presentations, internet, market economy and policy. The impact of these changes on the cartographic science at the University of Montenegro is considered.
A particular attention is given to the analyses of the cartography and cadastre in official institutions and conection with development of education modules of cartography in the Study Programme of Geography in Niksice, Department of Geodesy at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Podgorica – comprehensive basic studies of Geodesy and Geoinformatics.
Finally, it can be seen that the tasks solved by using maps have tended to become more compex and that the cartographic method in this has been always directed towards the most prominent and most urgent problems of Montenegro.

Gojko R. Nikolić gained his Ph.D from the University of Montenegro, Institute for Geography, Niksic, in the field of mapping and geographic information and physical geographical disciplines. He participated as a member of professional teams in the development of more scientific studies and research projects- including international projects, in which his scientific engagement was focused to solve methodolological problems, making the redaction of numerous maps, atlases, and geographic and GIS base from several field of science (GIS and Digital cartography, Geomorphology and Geoecology). He is member of national team in project of GEPSUS in the frame of NATO program.
