Abstract: The photogrammetric processes into the Direction General of Geog-raphy and Environment, have played a key role in generating information about physical objects and the environment through registration processes, measure-ment and interpretation of photographic images and patterns of radiant elec-tromagnetic energy and other phenomena, it is noteworthy that in the generation of geographic data by the institute, photogrammetry has been essential in the geographical activity to generate topographic maps at 1: 250 000 and 1:50 000 coverage throughout the territory and an advance of approximately 30% of the country at 1:20 000 scale, backed by over 48 years of work.
