Jarid McKenzie is a Business Intelligence consultant for Hitachi Solutions and has worked in the industry for the past seven years implementing analytical solutions for companies large and small . He achieved a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Victoria and a certificate in Business Intelligence from the University of Calgary.

Jarid has developed and taught courses on Power BI for a number of corporate clients, including introductory immersion courses for Microsoft and is currently teaching Data Analytics and Presentation at the University of Calgary. He has also developed and taught Azure Machine Learning immersion courses for Microsoft and works to help corporate partners understand and adopt machine learning and advanced analytics as a strategic enabler.
