This session will cover the intricacies of sales tax as it relates to large businesses and Dynamics 365 for Operations. It will start by reviewing sales tax fundamentals and explaining what areas might trigger the most risk. Next, the session will explain for finance users where and how those fundamentals are setup and maintained in Dynamics 365 for Operations to stay compliant. This will be demonstrated through screens prints directly from the latest Dynamics 365 for Operations version. Lastly, there will be a comparison of offerings in the market that are available to assist with this process as well as information on how to determine which offering might best fit your type of business.

James has held an AX Financial Certification since 2013 and led in the design and acceptance testing for multiple tax solutions integrated into Dynamics AX. His exceptional technical and functional expertise in Dynamics AX afforded him the opportunity to work with numerous medium to large corporations. James performs detailed sales tax assessments with each corporation, which enables him to provide guidance in the decision of the sales and use tax solutions that best fit the organization for today, as well as, tomorrow.
