SQL Server now offers two different cube options. Discover the right fit for your project. In this overview session, a summary of each and a comparison between tabular models and multi-dimensional models will be shared and demonstrated. There are benefits and drawbacks to both which will be discussed during this interactive session. The session will also include examples of each to highlight differences using standard Microsoft tools like Excel and Power BI. Learning Objectives: 1) Participants will examine the two analysis services models offered by Microsoft 2) Participants will learn the differences between the two models to help them determine which is best to implement for their own teams. 3) Participants will become familiar with how to build a tabular model from scratch.
