Luke Brewster, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy Division at Emory University Hospitals and the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He is actively investigating the role of arterial stiffness in arterial remodeling after interventions and the regenerative opportunities of biologic therapies in patients with cardiovascular disease. This work is actively funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Department of Defense. His clinical practice spans the broad spectrum of vascular disease. However, he has special interest in carotid artery disease and peripheral arterial disease, and he has conducted clinical trials in these fields as site PI.
