To peruse his interest in research, Dr. Zattoni committed to a tree year PhD program in Oncology and immunology at the University of Padua and already completed successfully his first year.
Dr. Zattoni has also been exposed to numerous international experiences in some of the most prestigious institutions. He completed a 2-week Robotic Fellowship at Onze-Lieve Vrouwziekenhuis Hospital, Aalst, Belgium.
He spent two months at NYU Langone Hospital for a research fellowship. During that experience he was involved on research programs of MRI and MRI guided prostate biopsy.
In 2014 he moved back to the US for one year research fellowship at Mayo Clinic. During that time, he was involved in several research projects. During that time at Mayo Clinic, he completed a diploma in ‘’Clinical and Translational Science’’. That course provided him tools to design studies, analyze and interpret data, conduct a clinical research protocol and communicate research findings, all of which has enabled him to participate more actively on a research team.
He is member of EAU and AUA. He has successfully passed the European Board of Urology exam and the E-BLUS.
ESOU selected him to be part of the STEPS program in Warsaw, Poland in genuary 2016. He is Author and co-author of more than 30 articles. He presented several posters at international meetings.
