Dan joined AMD in early 2008 and is responsible for AMD's Corporate Development as well as Global Sales efforts. He brings a diverse and extensive background to the leadership of AMD.
The common theme throughout Dan's career has been one of driving growth for technology based, telecommunications related companies with high value product propositions.
Dan's vision, creativity and leadership inspired the development of the industry leading, browser based clinical telemedicine platform with true, real time communications and medical device aggregation; AGNES Interactive®.
Additionally, he has conceptualized and has the lead the rollout of the first product to combine Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, patient/doctor workflows and clinical telemedicine; ExamFlow.
Dan currently manages AMD’s worldwide sales efforts which include a direct sales force and a global network of over forty – (40) resale partners. Since joining AMD the company’s footprint has expanded into ninety eight – (98) countries including several nationwide deployments. Under Dan’s guidance AMD has seen increased penetration into the traditional clinical telemedicine markets as well as significant entry points into the emerging retail pharmacy, concierge, medical tourism, EMS, and skilled nursing markets.
Dan's career has also included senior roles in; Manufacturing Operations, Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Professional Services at Aspect Communications (formerly Davox Corp.), Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products , Telekol (acquired by Nokia) and President/CEO of SteelTorch Software. Dan's vision and drive saw Lernout & Hauspie's North American Telecom market sales rise 250% year to year, Telekol to be acquired by Nokia and SteelTorch to acquire a European competitor in a cash accretive transaction.
Dan is a member of the American Telemedicine Association. His alma mater is the University of Massachusetts at Lowell; Business Administration - Operations.
