Dr. Turvey is Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Epidemiology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She currently specializes in the study and treatment of depression in late-life. Her emphasis is on how functional impairment and chronic illness are risk factors for depression.
