From the Nation's leading telemedicine vendor to the largest DTC Pediatric program, the Panelists represent the nation's leading telemedicine programs, who collectively provide thousands of direct to consumer (DTC) telemedicine visits each year. The panel will provide an intermediate/advanced level of content for the audience in an interactive discussion on DTC.
Discussion will move beyond a program's first use DTC case, with discussion on how to build and maintain quality DTC programs, and how to engage and educate providers to provide care beyond urgent care telemedicine. During this session the audience will be encouraged to ask questions of the expert panel's DTC experience. The speakers will touch on working with the patient's medical home, building best practice policies and their thoughts on trends and future DTC plans. The session will explore the panel's quality and safety program for their DTC programs.

Carey Officer is the Director of Service Delivery Innovation for Nemours Children’s Health System, an integrated children’s health system with two free-standing hospitals, 45 pediatric and specialty care locations in Delaware, Florida, Pennsylvania and New Jersey, where she provides critical leadership and support for researching, evaluating and incubating innovative clinical service delivery strategies including Telehealth. Carey has over 15+ years experience within the health care industry including strategy, financial and operational consulting serving large not-for-profit and for-profit health care systems.

Dr. Peter Antall is the Chief Medical Officer at American Well, where he is responsible for clinical direction of the platform as well as guidance and training for all of American Well’s clients. He is also the founder and President of the Online Care Group, the nation’s first national telehealth medical group, where he manages over 700 clinicians in a variety of disciplines, providing telehealth services in all 50 states.
Dr. Antall has developed innovative programs to measure and ensure quality in telehealth, has developed a national telehealth credentialing program, has played an active role in national efforts to modernize telehealth laws and regulations, and has developed tools to train, manage and mentor telehealth clinicians.
Dr. Antall has a track record of disruptive innovation in the areas of care delivery, medical management, business development, technology and telehealth. He has built and managed medical practices, founded a hospitalist company, written software for mobile apps and for phone based triage, and has been actively building telehealth programs since 2009.
Dr. Antall received his M.D. from George Washington University in 1995. He then completed a pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, in 1998 followed by a year of fellowship in Hematology Oncology at Stanford University in in 1999. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has practiced general pediatrics from 1999 to 2015.

William Daines, MD
Dr. William Daines is a primary care internist in Salt Lake City, Utah and Medical Director of Connect Care, Intermountain Healthcare’s urgent care telehealth solution. Dr. Daines received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City and subsequently completed an internship at the University of Utah and a residency in Internal Medicine at Stanford University. Following residency, Dr. Daines worked as a hospitalist at Stanford Hospital and had an academic appointment at Stanford University, where his non-clinical work focused on resident education and quality improvement. Dr. Daines joined Intermountain in 2014 and was appointed Medical Director for Connect Care in 2015.

Dr. Faiman currently serves as a Staff Physician and Medical Director of Express Care Online for Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Faiman obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree, Master’s Degree in Business Administration, and Medical Doctorate from the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Cleveland Clinic in 2002. Dr. Faiman is passionate about finding innovative ways to use TeleHealth services both nationally and internationally.
