Eric Tamulonis focuses on planning and designing public parks and open spaces. His work includes national, state, city and community parks and open space systems in diverse urban and natural environments. Having worked in coastal, piedmont, Appalachian, tallgrass prairie, Great Lakes and other ecsystems, he is also committed to the value of diverse cultural heritage; his work expresses the ecological and cultural context that provides meaning and identity for the projects he leads. He has lectured at national and international conferences on sustainable communities, green campus master plans, and the use of design as a means to achieving environmental education.
