Isabel Zempel is a landscape architect and principal at Sasaki. There she leads the design of high profile projects around the world, including award-winning civic and cultural landscapes in the United States, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Her work relies on the incorporation of forward looking resilient strategies within large-scale public landscapes, streetscapes, botanical gardens, waterfront developments. Izabel has a passion for contemporary and bold design expression of landscapes where culture, identity, and sustainability form unique, poetic concepts.
