OJB Landscape Architecture
A registered landscape architect, Cody is a Principal at OJB Landscape Architecture and the Managing Director of the Boston office. Cody has spent much of his career focusing on the design, planning and implementation of health care facilities including Cleveland Clinic’s Weston, Florida campus and The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, winner of a 2016 National AIA Award for Health Care design. Building upon OJB’s pioneering approach to create transformative landscapes that heal, Cody has collaborated with some of the top architects and health care providers in the industry to deliver world class facilities for the 21st century.
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Burson is an architect with over 40 years of planning, design and project management experience in both private and public sector practice. His work has focused primarily in the areas of institutional facilities programming, design and campus planning, and urban transportation and infrastructure project planning, design and joint development. Mr. Burson currently serves as Senior Project Manager with Partners HealthCare, for whom he has provided design, permitting and construction oversight of the Center for Outpatient Care in Danvers MA, the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in the Charlestown Navy Yard, and most recently the Administrative Consolidation campus in Assembly Row Somerville.
Eckenhoff Saunders Architects
Joan Suchomel is a Principal and healthcare planner at Eckenhoff Saunders Architects in Chicago. Healthcare architecture has been the primary focus of her career for three decades. A former director in Skidmore, Owings & Merrill’s Chicago office, past projects include a 1.5 million SF master plan and a new Joint and Spine Center for The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio; and master planning for Cleveland Clinic’s Weston, Florida campus, along with a new clinic building and a new ED/Inpatient building.
Joan is 2017 Past President of the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health, and a frequent speaker at national conferences.
