Pamela Burton & Company
Robin Carmichael approaches the design and management of projects based on experience gained on both the East and West Coasts. Her education in architecture and landscape architecture enables her to place a strong emphasis on spatial experiences and the integration of architecture and landscape as two components of the same art. Robin’s interests in sustainability and environmentally responsible design has led to sustainable integration on numerous civic, residential and commercial projects including the first of its kind mixed-use Los Angeles LGBT campus in Hollywood.

Pamela Palmer, ASLA is President of ARTECHO Architecture and Landscape Architecture, based in Venice, California. ARTECHO’s work is strongly rooted in the California landscape while drawing on international design traditions including Zen gardens, Paradise gardens, and Minimalism. Pamela and the ARTECHO design team have mined these traditions for timeless design principles that are especially relevant in California, including the powerful use of small amounts of water, modulation of microclimate, and the dynamics of outdoor living.

Joshua Rosen, is a project manager and licensed landscape architect, working in all aspects of Landscape Architecture from design to project planning, implementation and management. He is passionate about the use of diverse, a climactically appropriate palette, sustainable design practices and environmentally sensitive solutions to projects big and small. Additionally, as an active member of the Santa Monica Architectural Review Board, he combines his knowledge and expertise to guide environments that have artistic, sustainable and social integrity.
