APM does not print session handouts for distribution on-site to attendees. Instead, your presentation or references are uploaded to a password-protected area of the APM 2017 website and attendees download the handouts for the sessions they are planning to attend ahead of time to use as learning aids. You are welcome to provide photocopies of handouts on-site, however, at your own cost.
The submission rules for APM 2017 included a requirement for all speakers/authors to upload copies of presentations materials to the APM website in advance of the meeting to provide learning aids to attendees. Your evaluation as a speaker/author will, in part, be based on your compliance with this commitment.
Your Presentation Files/Session Recording
You must bring your slides with you on a portable USB flash drive. Uploading your presentation to the APM 2017 meeting site only makes it available for attendees; uploading does not delivery your presentation the meeting room.
Use only the laptops provided in the meeting room for your presentation. If you absolutely must use your own device, please discuss this well in advance with a PTAV rep on-site. Do not wait until immediately before your presentation to find a PTAV rep, as they are not stationed in every meeting room. Laptops are running Win7; Mac Keynote users: if you require assistance converting your presentation, please contact Martin at PTAV at email@example.com ahead of time.
All sessions are being recorded this year; a podium note will remind you of this. Please use the microphones provided to ensure your presentation is accurately captured.
