Friday, June 16
8:00 AM - 10:30 AM

The Targeted Assessment for Prevention (TAP) strategy is a framework for quality improvement that offers a focused approach to prevention of healthcare-associated infections including catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI), central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI), and Clostridium difficile infections (CDIs). This session will provide a focus on CDI prevention in the acute care setting. This will include an overview of the TAP strategy, demonstration of TAP tools and tips for implementation, and examples of TAP in action from a partner in prevention that has excelled in innovatively deploying the TAP strategy.
