3300 - Using Adherence Monitoring to Build a Bridge Between Policy and Practice

Friday, June 16
9:30 AM - 10:00 AM
Location: Oregon Convention Center, B 117-119

Hospitals follow evidence-based practices in their policies, but individual healthcare personnel performance may drift from actual policy in performing healthcare-associated infection prevention measures. In an effort to bridge the gap between policy and healthcare personnel performance, this program will help the participant identify adherence monitoring of evidence-based practices as helpful to recognize where gaps in performance exist so that appropriate corrective actions can be implemented.
