We invite you to join us in the spirit of unstructured and dynamic exchange of ideas about the state of first year experience and library technology. We hope to have attendees from all types of academic libraries who want to share about the important developments, innovations, challenges, and work flows associated with shaping the user experience for first year students at their institutions. We welcome all librarians and professionals who want to spend an hour discussing how technology fits into the undergraduate experience, including (but not limited to) mobile apps, digital collaboration tools, research suite services and tutorials, and innovative discovery platforms. No preparation or prior experience is necessary for joining this event--just stop by and take place in this idea exchange! This meeting will set the stage for a larger discussion during the ALA Annual Conference in Chicago.
