Mozilla Science Lab
Stephanie Wright leads the Mozilla Science Lab, a program of the Mozilla Foundation. Her work at Mozilla focuses on making research more open, collaborative, and beneficial by maximizing access and contribution to papers, data, code, and other research materials. She works with researchers, students, non-profit organizations, librarians and citizen scientists to help them learn, teach and advocate for open science. Current activities include hosting events such as Working Open Workshops and Open Leadership Trainings, developing educational resources such as the Open Data Training Program, and building a community of leaders through Mozilla Fellowships and other collaborative opportunities.
Prior to Mozilla, Stephanie worked for the University of Washington where she developed and led the Libraries Research Data Services Unit, served as a Senior Data Science Fellow at the UW’s eSciences Institute, and co-authored the Librarian Outreach Kit as part of the Community Engagement & Outreach Working Group for DataONE.
