Dana Lamparello is Senior Archivist for Architecture and Visual Materials at the Chicago History Museum. A 2007 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin’s School of Information, Dana holds a Master’s of Science in Information Studies with an archives and museum studies concentration, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Study in preservation administration of library and archival materials. More recently, she completed a second master’s degree in art and architectural history from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she focused her studies on material culture and design. Her professional experience includes work with both traditional and digital archival collections at the Art Institute of Chicago's Ryerson & Burnham Archives, Historical Society of Pennsylvania, Illinois Institute of Technology, Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Alexander Architectural Archive.
