The Institute, presented by the LLAMA Human Resources Section, will focus on how to develop, sell, and implement a compelling vision for your library that is true to your organizational and professional values and responsive to user needs and trends. Featured presenter Jessamyn West, a Vermont-based Library Technologist who has worked with and for libraries for over two decades, will coach participants on examining and assessing personal, professional and institutional values in order to develop real plans, set expectations, and make vision reality. Participants will leave this workshop with concrete methods and strategies for approaching conflicting values, prioritizing and developing personal and institutional goals and vision, and pitching change to different stakeholders. Registration fee includes box lunch.
