Miriam Matteson is an Associate Professor in the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University. She teaches in the areas of management, academic librarianship, reference services, and information literacy. Her research interests are focused on organizational behavior topics in library settings including emotional labor, small group communication, and work engagement. She holds an MLS degree from Indiana University, a Certificate of Advanced Study from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a PhD from the University of Maryland iSchool.
