Douglas Ballman is the Manager of External Relations - Online Archive at the USC Shoah Foundation - The Institute for Visual History and Education. Doug has worked for the Shoah Foundation since 2000, starting originally as a Historical Content Analyst to help index English-language testimonies. Doug’s responsibilities now include managing the relationships with the institutions that subscribe to the Visual History Archive, as well as providing technical and content support to library staff, students, professors, and other researchers at accessing institutions. In addition, he works on a variety of other archive-related projects for the Institute’s technology group. Doug received a MA in history from California State University, Los Angeles, and both a BA in English Literature and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
