Eighteen (18) years of experience working at Academic Libraries at the University of Puerto Rico. At the present, works as Serials and database librarian manager at the Learning Resource Center at the University of Puerto Rico at Bayamón. Also coordinates works for the Certification of the LRC from ACRL and the “Open workshops at the Library” an iniciative that offers to the University community a variety of workshops and activities related to research, education and tools for success. Formerly collaborates with the Information Literacy Program offering workshops and conferences to students and faculty members. In the past she was a Reference Librarian and Public Service Coordinator.
In the 2013 ALA Annual Conference presented a Poster with Santiago Villegas from Colombia. Currently, I’m a co-director, social media manager and writer at Infotecarios (Latin American collaborative blog about Librarianship and Information Science).
